It was on 9th July , 2014 that Mandar sent me a request on Shaadi.com. Initially I was reluctant to accept it as I thought how will it work . We belong to different states , different cultures etc. We started chatting with each other. Meanwhile my Aunt from Pune got involved and provided us with all the needful info . We started chatting on whatsapp and skype . I never ever dreamt of marrying him because of his different culture , even the language but he was pretty sure since the beginning. I was on 1st Jan, 2015 that my family came to Pune and both the families met . We were Roka-fied in February and the wedding took place on 11th June , 2015 successfully . The functions were held in both - ' The Punjabi ' and 'the Marathi' tradition. It was more like the story of '2 States'. Thanks to Shaadi.com for I got the most treasured gift of my life ie my loving husband.
